Kris Snyder is a fourth generation harper, arranger, composer and teacher. After being given her great grandmother’s Clark harp, she embraced the family tradition as a profession and now has over 27 years of musical experience.

She is the Director of the Lever Harp Camp, held every year in South central Pennsylvania and she is also the Director of The Muses, York County’s premier harp ensemble. Ms. Snyder is also sole proprietor of The Elegant Touch, providing harp music for any occasion located in the mid-Atlantic region. Contact Kris for bookings at 717.235.4064.

Kris performs her extensive repertoire list for a wide variety of venues and has been featured repeatedly at “First Night York”. She is currently taking a break from performing weekly at Glen Rock Mill Inn  (please call 717. 235-5918 and inquire when she is returning) and monthly at the New Oxford Coffee Co. & Visitor’s Center. Kris is also a Certified Music Practitioner® and currently works with the elderly, ill and dying, providing live harp music to soothe and heal.

About Kris Snyder

I am a 4th generation harper, providing live harp music for life events (weddings, funerals, parties). I am a Certified Music Practitioner (cmp) - providing prescriptive music at the bedside of the ill and dying. I also run one of the largest harp teaching studios in South Central Pennsylvania - teaching folk harp to ages 8 and up (no previous music experience required). I have performed regularly at the Glen Rock Mill Inn (Glen Rock, PA) and at the New Oxford Coffee Shop and Visitor's Center (New Oxford, PA).
